A wine that’s as beautiful as Cape Town itself. 100% handpicked Chenin Blanc grown in South Africa’s famous Swartland region. Made using a blend of grapes that come from a diverse collection of Swartland soils, with each piece of land putting its own mark on the final product. Made for those warm sunny days that don’t seem to end.
A late but fast ripening period toward the year’s end gave us wines with softer, more round mouthfeels and a higher focus on minerality over fruit, in flavor. It's a 20-year-old dry farmed chenin with a nose of lemon peel, wild flowers, wet chalk and freshly shucked buttered corn. The palate is greeted with the taste of fresh summer peaches, poppyseed cake with a lemon drizzle and a touch of straw. Long, creamy finish.
