Domaine Gonzague Maurice "Victor" Castillon Cotes-De-Bordeaux

Our appreciation at the tasting: the color is translucent dark garnet with purplish reflections. The nose is fine, complex, on raspberry, smoke, truffle, pepper... The palate is round, ample, finely velvety, unfolding a dense and soft substance, elegant, with slightly truffled and spicy patinated fruit, and not lacking in freshness. The finish reveals firmer tannins, but civilized and well-integrated, mixing raspberry with bramble and pepper, with a beautiful persistence on spices and truffle.
