Tasting Notes

The Domaine de Couron is located on the sunny hills overlooking the Provencal village of St Marcel D'Ardache.  Grenache based with Syrah, the grapes are farmed organically and sustainably from average 46-year-old vineyards.

Ripe, well-defined with blueberry, plum and blackberry fruit along with hints of cocoa, warm stone and anise. A hint of lavender chimes in on the finish. Deep in color, it develops aromas of scrubland, undergrowth, spices with tanins that are well blended allowing the Côtes du Rhône to remain supple.

Blend: 60% Grenache, 40% Syrah
